On October 19, 2018, the intercultural theatre magazine Alt.theatre featured an article on Postmarginal’s “Subject and Creation” workshop, led by Soheil Parsa on 7 to 11 May 2018 in Toronto. Ten actors (including two from Montreal) worked with Soheil Parsa over days to explore the potential of their artistic and cultural influences in theatre. Scholar and writer, Dr. Diana Manole, who attended the workshop as an observer, was commissioned to write an article in Volume 14, no 3. of the industry magazine. Entitled “Multilayered Diversity as Creative Asset: Modern Times Stage Company’s “Subject and Creation” Laboratory” the four-page article describes well the collaborative rehearsal style that “(suspends) culturally and politically-conditioned beliefs” (Manole).
